slave Rick  is a full-time civil servant, a part-time college instructor, a massage therapist, a retired Science of Mind practitioner and a licensed, practicing psychotherapist.

First and foremost, however, he is by grace in service to his beloved Master.

When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Stay:

Meeting the Challenges of a Master/slave Relationship

Without a doubt, a long-term Master/slave relationship can be challenging for both the Master and the slave.  In a journey of mutual trust, obedience and surrender, unseen and often disliked parts of our inner-selves are bound to be exposed.  Such exposure is a necessary step toward the healing, integration and wholeness that is the call of such relationships, but it can be exceedingly stressful and at times even frightening.  If this dynamic is not properly understood, there will be a tendency for the Master or the slave to say “enough” and exit the relationship.

Dialogue with slave Rick, a licensed psychotherapist, as he shares some insights culled from his spiritual studies, his professional practice within the BDSM community and his 9+ year M/s relationship into the self-defeating “cut and run” syndrome that typically occurs when the going gets tough.  Discover what it means to truly stop in the midst of whatever turmoil you may be experiencing in your relationship and, instead of running, to allow the consequential burning away of the ego to open a doorway into a deeper awareness of your true Self.  The willingness to meet and face whatever appears in life results in a profound sense of personal freedom and joy that strengthens and deepens relationships of all types…and it’s possible for you!

This is a special three-hour workshop.

You must attend part one to be allowed in to see part two.
