Ladyfish and Fisherman
Ladyfish is the Executive Director of Sagacity, the largest, longest-running kink/fetish/alternative lifestyle society in British Columbia. She met her Fisherman on-line in 1996 and moved from upstate New York in 1999 to be with him. They were married in 2002 and live in Victoria, British Columbia with kids, cats, fish, and visiting kinksters. Ladyfish is an editor and co-owner of Fishability Inc. She has been wiggling her fins in the BDSM water for years, enjoys many facets of kink, and is probably the oldest woman ever invited to “hang” from the ceiling at Victoria art shows. 

Fisherman has an MBA in knowledge management, is a consummate geek, and is the other half of Fishability Inc. He is also on the Executive Board of Sagacity and has presented workshops on everything from rope to BDSM 101. Besides being very adept at whips and ropes, Fisherman is a Master of putting up with never-ending peccadilloes of Ladyfish. He also looks pretty hot in a kilt…with or without his Sponge Bob boxers! 

Ladyfish and Fisherman have made friends and contacts all over the world and are dedicated to spreading the word about the joys and humor of kink and the BDSM lifestyle! They have had the good fortune to be presenters at Lupercalia, BIO of Vancouver, the Conference of Kink, Cornucopia, University of Victoria, Camosun College, and have not been tarred and feathered yet (although that may be a kink worth pursuing at some point).

“Fishtales Too” 

Kick off your stilettos, loosen your leather, pull up a kelp bed, and come swim with the Fishes!

 Ladyfish of Sagacity and her long-suffering partner, Fisherman, offer up "Fishtales Too"... another series of irreverent observations and humorous true stories based on the lessons they’ve learned during their tumultuous and exciting voyage in the Sea of Kink. To hook you into being part of the fun, they are also going to use the art of temporary branding* as bait. Learn how to tag your catch (at least for a week or so)! You won’t need a license or a fly rod for this interactive workshop...the Fishes will be loading up their tackle box with all the goodies you’ll need to learn, laugh, and make your mark!

 *A temporary brand is similar to a brand except it will heal (and probably vanish) with time (usually 2-3 weeks). The temporary brand is similar to localized sunburn. There is very little pain or damage to the skin. There is no risk of infection (unless you are careless) as the process does not even break the skin (unless you want to). This workshop will include a demonstration, practice time, and the opportunity to receive a temporary brand and/or give one if you have a partner (we’ll do anything to boost our workshop attendance record). If you don’t have a partner, there’s usually someone else in the room that doesn’t have one either! Time to strike while the fishing is hot!
